Black Cod, also known as Sable-Fish, is a highly regarded fish that is known for its incredible succulence and buttery flavor. This attribute aptly earned it the nickname "Butter-Fish."
Its unique snow-white flesh and delicate texture make it a versatile fish that is highly valued by chefs worldwide. This fish thrives in the deep and pristine waters of the Northern Pacific Ocean, and it is native to Alaska where it can be found at depths of up to 5,000 feet in the coolest and cleanest regions.
We kindly remind you to ensure proper storage of your Black Cod fillets in a freezer at a temperature of below 0⁰F.
