We respectfully request that you store our Idaho Brook Trout product in a freezer at or below 0°F.
Prior to preparation, it is highly recommended that you thaw the product overnight in the refrigerator. However, if unexpected guests arrive, you may place the fish under a stream of cold water for approximately 45 minutes.
Before cooking, we suggest that you rinse and dry the fish. Cook it to your desire, ensuring that the halibut's internal temperature reaches at least 145°F. A food thermometer may be used for this purpose.
